As a former prosecutor, investigative assistant, and attorney at a prominent boutique law firm in Manhattan, Elizabeth combines litigation and trial experience with investigations and crisis management experience. Elizabeth is a millennial trial attorney with an innate understanding of how to gather intelligence through digital presence and a knack for asking the right questions to the right witnesses to gather information for her clients.

Elizabeth’s experience includes both legal and investigative responses to federal and state government investigations, arrests, and prosecutions; corporate investigations of fraud, bribery, corruption; investigations in multi-million dollar civil litigation matters; crisis management involving government and political officials; witness location; and asset tracing.
PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

Elizabeth started her career as an investigative assistant at a prominent commercial litigation firm on Long Island. There, she worked on several complex investigations involving large corporations and crisis management issues involving political officials, including assisting in congressional campaigns, judgeship campaigns, one United States Presidential campaign announcement, and conducting opposing candidate investigations. Elizabeth went on to law school, where she graduated with several distinctions, including: Best Cross Examination Award, Queen’s District Attorney’s Office Mock Trial Champion Award, and the Judge Edward Hart Memorial Scholarship for Excellence in Trial Advocacy. She was also selected to be a member of the Hofstra Law Review.

Elizabeth began her legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in the Bronx, where she prosecuted hundreds of felony and misdemeanor cases. During her tenure as a prosecutor, she handled hundreds of complex matters including attempted murders, search warrant cases, drug cases, gun cases & ballistics, and DNA gathering/analysis.

In 2020, Elizabeth joined a prominent boutique law firm in Manhattan & began to work on a widely covered federal case involving foreign bribery/corruption & Sarbanes Oxley allegations. There, Elizabeth became the firm’s resident expert on Sarbanes Oxley risk mitigation and honed in on her investigative skills, managing foreign and domestic investigations and assisting in intelligence gathering.

With her extensive litigation experience and innate talent for intelligence gathering, Elizabeth created Sapere Intelligence to further provide her clients with the knowledge they need to combat any legal crisis they may face.
